A Holocaust memorial in Frankfurt, Germany

Book Project
Close to Home: Local Iterations of Antisemitism and Holocaust Memory [Forthcoming]
This book provides high school students and undergraduates with a survey of critical issues in Holocaust studies by excavating discrete sites of antisemitism and Holocaust memory in Europe and the U.S. while tracing how the author arrived at them. Combining history, theory, memoir, and travelogue, the book is an accessible and arresting expansion of Holocaust engagement for students.
